All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to Monika with the Viewing being held on Tuesday, 22 April 2025, 6:00pm – 7:00pm at Cordell Chapel, Fawkner Memorial Park, 1187 Sydney Rd, Fawkner.
Funeral Service – Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 11:00am
The Funeral Service for Monika will be held at the St. George & St. Mary Mother of God Macedonian Orthodox Church, 512 High St, Epping, on Wednesday the 23rd of April 2025, commencing at 11:00am.
Burial Ceremony – Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 1:30pm
Monika’s burial will immediately follow the funeral service at the Northern Memorial Park “Snow Gum A” area, 56 Box Forest Rd, Glenroy, at 1:30pm.
Refreshments – Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 2:15pm
Light Refreshments will be served at the Northern Memorial Park Comm Centre and Cafe following Monika’s burial ceremony.
*The funeral service will be livestreamed for anyone who cannot attend on the day.

The world has suffered an unimaginable loss with the loss of Monika. It was obvious to anyone who met her how deeply she cared about others, how much she believed a better world was possible and how hard she worked to make that world a reality.
Monika was carrying more pain than anyone should ever have to hold, and I wish more than anything that her pain could have been relieved before it was too late. No one as kind and thoughtful as her should have had to suffer like that, and I hope that wherever she is now, she is at peace.
Rest in peace dear Monika.
We still remember you as the gorgeous and bright doll faced young girl.
We are sorry you didn’t find someone to share your deepest and darkest thoughts with, who could show you another path. We are devastated that you are gone.

Dearest Monika, I will always cherish our memories together. I was so lucky to have you as my roomie for the study tours to Vietnam and China. I will always keep our friendship in my heart and I am so sorry I am not in the country to be able to say goodbye to you today in person. I am grateful I could watch the beuatiful service honouring your life. You will be missed by so many and thank you for everything you gave to this world xx
My heart is so sad at the loss of dear Monika. I shall always remember her gentle manner and genuine warmth. My sympathy and love is with you Robbie. You were such a beautiful couple together. May your lovely memories bring you comfort. My sympathy as well to Monika’s family who are also suffering a terrible loss.

I did not know her personally but I heard many kind words about her through a friend.
