Home Based Family-Led Funerals

At the core of our tightly held values is the firm belief that families can care for their own dead and prepare their own funeral ceremonies and rituals. Occasionally some assistance is needed with certain tasks which we are honoured to offer. Below are our fees for supporting family-led care. All care is to be provided during business hours. Our fees to support family-led after death and funeral care

After death transfer from place of death to home including basic mortuary care –

 $1,295

After death transfer from Coroner into our care for mortuary care and then to home * –

 $1,895

Assistance with washing and dressing only (no transfer needed) –

 $895

Techni-ice packs for keeping your person cool (20 per day of care) –

 $10 each

Each additional support visit –

 $395

Removal of pacemaker by mortician * –

 $695

Home visit by doctor to authorise cremation (if applicable and if available) –

 from $440

Registration of death –

 $495 plus

Death Certificate Package –

 $125 or

Death Certificate / Cause of Death Only –

 $80

Arrangement of cemetery booking –

 $265

Vehicle and driver for escort to cemetery for farewell in the garden –

 $1,295

Vehicle, driver, and assistant for escort to cemetery for witnessed cremation or burial ** –

 $1,895

After Hours Surcharge

Attendance for any service occurring after hours, additional fee applies –

 from $895

* Service only available during business hours.
** Pallbearers to be provided by your family or community. Natural Grace can supply additional pallbearers at $330 per person.
*** Our standard operating area is a 100 km radius of our Macedon Ranges or Melbourne Sanctuaries.
