Hayley HIGHAM

Hayley Higham (also known, until recently, as Hayley Scott)
We are heartbroken to announce that our beautiful Hayley died suddenly, but peacefully and naturally, at home on the 16th February 2026.
Mum to Ava and Evie, Hayley will be missed by all of us in her loving family.
To honour everything we love about Hayley we are having a Celebration Ceremony at Norma Richardson Hall, Buckland Street, Woodend at 11:00am on FRIDAY 27th February 2026.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend. Please wear a splash (or a lot) of yellow!
After the Ceremony you are invited to join us at Woodend Cricket Club, Gilbert Gordon Oval, Woodend for refreshments.
Seating: Please note that seating inside the hall is reserved for Hayley’s beautiful big family and very close friends. Hayley’s broader community is asked to gather in the garden of the hall where there will be a big screen so you can see and hear everything. Please bring a camp chair or picnic rug for outside seating. Children are super welcome.
Parking: Parking in front of the hall will be reserved for Hayley’s family. There is some parking on the other side of the road but please be aware that the school staff often use those parks. You are encouraged to park at Gilbert Gordon and walk up to Norma’s for the Ceremony and back to Gilbert Gordon for refreshments after the Guard of Honour.
Please note that Hayley’s ceremony is not being live streamed. If you are unable to join us on the day, please take a quiet moment to remember Hayley, her children and her family.
Please feel most welcome to call Natural Grace on 5427 3112 if you have any questions.

So sad to have just heard the news of Hayley’s passing. I remember her as a vivacious little girl, as she grew up, in a loving family.
An important and much loved part of our community. Hugs to the family. 😢
To dear Lee-Anne and Keith,Kara, Kristian, Jade and partners, including Hayleys and nieces and nephews,
We cannot imagine your absolute pain of loosing your beloved daughter Hayley.
We watched her grow up, and follow her dreams of being a chef.
We watched her become a mother to Ava, and that’s where she grew up and became a fantastic mum, creating memories for her elder daughter.
Then, another beautiful daughter Evie to Rob with more creative memories.
Then a big gap for us..
Then the house in Malmesbury.. her design!
I observed a very close family. So together you will adjust to this but never forget.
Love Barb and Graham xxx
Hayley, we might be family because life made us that way… but we’re friends because we choose each other.
You have taken a piece of my heart with you. The memories I have of you and I growing up together I will cherish forever.
I was a part of your whole life, but I’ll miss you for the rest of mine
Love always, Chloe xo

I am stunned and saddened by this awful news. My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Hayley and to her adoring parents Keith & Leanne.
Hayley,
You were something extraordinary. Your kindness and happy presence would light up a room and any conversation would leave such an impact.
Your girls were so incredibly lucky to have you guide & support them in this thing called life and everyone that has ever known & loved you will not be short of a story of your strength and unwaivering support you had for them.
You were truly something special and this is heartbreaking and so unfair.
Xxx
Lee-anne and Keith, I wish I had words to lighten your agony, but sometimes words just aren’t enough. Lee-anne, during our time of knowing each other it has never been a secret how much your family means to you, and so my heart aches for your loss. I know you have lots of wonderful moments and memories of Haley to cherish. May these memories held dear to your heart bring you peace. My heart and thoughts will be with you tomorrow, with deepest sympathy.

Sincere condolences for the passing of Hayley Higham , leaving behind her family at such a young age for reasons unknown…
I prayed for Hayley’s children and parents for their grief , trying to understand why God needed her more than her family , in the prime of her life !? It’s definitely not fair , by any means .

Hayley. I’m sorry I cannot be there to say goodbye as I will be interstate.
I don’t have the words to express how unfair this is.
I hope they know how lucky they are to have you up there 🩷
Hayley! Such a sudden shock that I just couldn’t believe. Like it wasn’t real. But it is and now heaven has gained an angel. I’m sorry I can’t be there today but I’m sure Mum can fill you all in. You will be greatly missed! I remember those beautiful sleep overs at your house in Woodend we would all be hovering around the gas heater in the morning trying to get warm. May your beautiful girls grow and cherish those beautiful memories that you have created together! I love you all! Know that I’m with you today in your hearts! I wish more than anything I could be there but it just hasn’t worked out that way. Rest easy now beautiful lady!
