You are warmly invited to attend Deirdre’s funeral on MONDAY 22nd June 2026 at the Gisborne Uniting Church, 23 Brantome St, Gisborne, commencing at 1pm.
Deirdre’s burial will immediately follow her funeral, at Gisborne Cemetery, 110 Aitken St, Gisborne.
Following this, you are warmly invited to share refreshments back at the church.
The service will be livestreamed, if you are unable to be present on the day, you can join via the livestream.

Fond memories of Deirdre during her time as tenants advocate when we worked together at the NRCLC. A wicked sense of humour, without being wicked! A big heart, a generous spirit and endless patience for the underdog. A life well lived. Condolences to Elaine and Family.
