My dance buddy, Naomi, was always such a pleasure to behold. In her authentic expression her natural grace and beauty were highlighted. It was an honour to have Naomi as my sharing partner following our dance and drawing, where her insight and wisdom would truly emerge. Naomi was my role model for wholesome ageing. I feel blessed to have shared this branch of our lives and will continue to emulate her integrity in all aspects of my life.

It was my genuine privilege to have cared for Naomi as my patient, for the past 15 years. Thank you Naomi for entrusting me so graciously with your health care needs over such a long period of time.

Naomi came to see me regularly for osteopathic treatment. Never without a smile, no mater her circumstances. Naomi was unfailingly considerate towards me; she valued her health but was never demanding, a quality I really appreciated.

I knew Naomi to be a gentle, thoughtful, intelligent woman who was articulate and engaging, with strong values and a kind heart. How many of life’s ups and downs we journeyed over the course of those years! So many conversations! If only I had known when I saw you mostly recently that it would be our last meeting. I will always remember your lovely smile and the sound of your laugh.

Naomi, I will miss you very much. Thank you for everything.

Naomi was a good friend and colleague of our mother, Hanny Exiner. We also want to acknowledge the key role she played in the establishment and operation of the Hanny Exiner Memorial Foundation and we remember her with gratitude and fondness.

Your beautiful heart and incredible smile will be missed by everyone Naomi. Small in stature but with the strength of a lion. Your daughters are so like you. I will miss our chats at Sams birthdays and will remember your gentle, intelligent interest in everyone else’s life. Rest in peace xx

I met Naomi for the first time at Belle and Joshua’s wedding 2 years ago but I felt like I knew her already because Belle would tell me about her and her art. Thank you Naomi for welcoming my daughter into your family. You will be remembered for sure.

Dear Naomi, Such a beautiful person, an exquisite dancer and an enormous contributor to dance and dance therapy. You faced your challenges courageously, gave graciously of yourself and touched many hearts. I am so glad to have had you as a valued colleague and good friend.

How sad I feel now, knowing I will never see my beautiful friend again. Her welcoming hug and huge smile were always the wonderful start to our visits to NGV, a cinema, window shopping, lunches at Laurent…
We both loved classical music, exquisite fashion, art in its many forms, the environment – and cheese and mushroom croque!
Rest in peace my friend. My memories of you will be with me forever.

It must be twenty years since I joined Naomi’s dance class. There was a small woman a dancer in every cell in her body, a large welcoming smile and the reassurance that everybody can dance. What an amazing range of music she challenged us to respond to! Her preparation was detailed and we were led carefully led into understanding what our bodies could do. The music was chosen to stimulate exploration and it was often surprising ; the classics, a Latin beat, a chorale, swing, First Nations and a touch of Rock and Roll.
I sensed in Naomi a deep spirit, strong values and a boundless acceptance of the joy sadness and eccentricity of us all. She became a dear friend and the loss of her presence is hard to bear. I carry within me all that I learned from her . Kate Nelson.

I’m so grateful to have Naomi as my Color Pencil drawing instructor. Naomi was talented, kind and generous in her encouragement of all our works in her class. She always found something beautiful about our work no matter how bad we thought our pieces were. Despite her health challenges, she showed up and brought thoughtful still life along with her teaching each week whenever possible. She thought me life is beautiful. I will miss her dearly.

Naomi, my sister, is the best friend I have had – in 85years
