Noelene was the quiet and powerful force that worked alongside me to create an amazing Mother Goose group in Woodend for 3 years. Noelene had a way of making you feel that you were glad you showed up to contribute even when things weren’t so great. Most importantly Noelene was one of those people who helped remind me that their are good, kind and decent people quietly and powerfully working away to help us do better. Thankyou for all you did for us all, I am a better person for having shared time with you. My heartfelt thoughts to your family at this very sad time.
Thankyou Noelene for being the amazing person you were. You made such a difference in so many ways and impacted on people. Marcus, Lynsey and family we think of you at this time.
Condolences to Marcus and all the Families. Such sad news
Only met Noelene the once in connection with Goulburn Valley Suicide Awareness Group. It was immediately evident the love shared with Marcus and the passion to help others after the loss of their beloved son. Rest peacefully Noelene, thank you for your generous life. Will be with you in thought and prayer on the day you are farewelled.
We cannot put into words what sort of human being Noelene was, but the impact of her passing will be huge for so many that she helped along the journey of life let alone the shock and devastation to her immediate and wider family and friends. Our deepest sympathy to Marcus, Lynsey, Anthony and Wren.
We were blessed to have you as a sister in law and friend and really get to know you more during our family times in Bangkok. It was there that we realised what a little “go getter” you were. Ready for adventure and initiating new opportunities for your family as well as being the rock solid supporter of the entire family. All of this while never offering a critical word about anyone and always looking for the positive and taking a supportive stance. (Although, Marcus you did have the unique distinction of occasionally getting the “roll of the eyes” and rebuff to a slight exaggeration or different slant on the story being told!!!).
When you had a passion for something, be it family, children education or community work, you took it on with all you had. It was not just the work and support that you provided but the manner in which you went about things that was inspiring to all those around you. Your passion for SPAG and the creation of this within the Macedon community after the loss of Liam is a pure reflection of the person you always were.
We will miss you at the traditional Family Christmas – The Noelene homemade plum pudding, your own dance style, the sole responsible one to drive the drunk home and collect his pizza along the way and the half a bottle of Moscato always left behind!!!
RIP Noelene. You truly deserve to have that given your impeccable soul!!
You will always be loved and missed. Legends always live on!!!
Noelene – one of my oldest friends. We worked together at Sunbury Primary, were pregnant together, (twice) and shared lunches, playgroups, kinder, schools and girls’ days out. Such a wonderful person – kind, gentle, understanding, steadfast and brave. The world is poorer without you in it.
To Marcus, Lynsey, Anthony and Wren, we send our heartfelt condolences and sympathy.
Love Annette and Max Irvine and the Weinberger family.
Dear Noelene, no-one fully knows the love you have for Marcus and Lynsey. You have been their rock and now you can rest with Liam. It was a pleasure working with you and Marcus at NGPS. It is a sad time but you will be in our thoughts in the time to come. Rest easy, Noelene. J
So very sad to read of Noelene’s passing. I have known Noelene since childhood in Fawkner. Whilst we didn’t physically see each other often, we kept in contact via FB. I will remember Noelene as an energetic, adventuress, caring crusader with a great laugh.
Condolences to all the family – Noelene will be greatly missed.
Noelene has been the soul of the Macedon Ranges Suicide Prevention Action Group.
Her selfless vision, incredible strength, and abundant love drove the creation of our organisation twelve years ago.
The MRSPAG committee and circle of volunteers had the privilege of Noelene’s heart centred leadership, unwavering guidance, and exceptional grace. And we will never forget her warmth, intelligence, and humour.
Our hearts are heavy as we think of the pain endured by Marcus, Lynsey, Anthony and Wren, as they grieve their beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Noelene’s spirit will keep us striving to sustain her legacy.
Noelene, you were my longest friendship which spanned from college, through Friday night drinks, family leave, raising kids, teaching and finally retirement. There were long times between catch ups but each time felt like it was yesterday. We talked about everything, nothing and solved some of the world’s biggest problems. You were always a great listener, humourous, loyal and caring. Your strength to deal with what the world threw at you was beyond belief. I will sorely miss you in my life.
Deepest sympathy to Marcus, Lynsey, Anthony and Wren.
Gorgeous Noelene. Wow what a loss to this world, now you are gone.
Always so warm, friendly and welcoming. A truly lovely lady.
To Marcus, my special golf mate, and to Lyndsey, such a special wife and mum, we can’t imagine your pain.
Much love to you both, to daughter Wren, and to your partner.

Dear Marcus, Lynsey and family. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. I have wonderful memories of many happy times spent in Pickering’s Hut by the Howqua River.
Lots of laughter, ‘deep and meanifuls’ and the enjoyment had from spending time with good friends. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to catch up with Noelene in November at a friend’s birthday celebration. I will treasure our chat and the time we had together.
With love Valda
