The family of the much-loved Reynald Bellerose of West Heidelberg are profoundly sad to announce his peaceful passing in hospital on Saturday 3 January 2026.
His extended family warmly invite friends, colleagues and neighbours to join them in celebrating Reynald’s life at a funeral Mass at 11am on Tuesday 13 January at St John’s Catholic Church, 52 Yarra Street, Heidelberg.
For those who want to say a personal farewell to Reynald, his coffin will be opened for a viewing in the Church between 10:30am and 10:55am.
Reynald’s family invite his friends, colleagues and neighbours to again come together later the same day at Springvale Botanical Cemetery for a brief graveside committal and burial ceremony at 2pm to be then followed by refreshments between 2:30pm and 4pm.
The burial will occur at Reynald’s parents’ grave within the ‘Church of Christ’ section, bordered by 10th Avenue and 6th Road within the cemetery grounds.
Offering a further opportunity to reflect of Reynald’s life and support his loving family and community, refreshments will be served in the Eucalypt Room of the Clarence Reardon Centre, also within the Springvale Botanical Cemetery grounds.
