A Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Suraya will be offered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 116 Cotham Rd, Kew on THURSDAY 17th July, commencing at 11am.
Refreshments will follow the Mass. If you are attending the refreshments, please bring a plate of food to share with other members of Suraya’s community.
Suraya will then be buried at Lilydale Memorial Park, 126 – 128 Victoria Rd, Lilydale with a ceremony commencing at 3pm.
For those unable to attend, please refer to the livestream link. Both the Mass and Suraya’s burial will be recorded and livestreamed.

For the few moments we interacted, I could tell that NJERI had a big heart for everyone. I am that we had a chance to share the word of God , and also pray together.

Nancy my cousin, you fought a good fight, that I believed God will heal, so that you can revisit kenya again and again,I waited for you so that I can’t take you to the hotel that you loved, but, God loved you more, rip my cousin.
Sureiya, you have fought this with hope, grit and always wearing that smile, focusing on others and not wanting to miss a giggle.
My sister, I will miss you, and the family will miss you even more. But not without hope, cos we know are in the presence of Jesus. A place of no more pains, and cancer can’t get you there.
Rest easy my dear and know the Lord that gave you these kids, He is well able to watch over them. He who started this work will bring it to completion.
