Margie Bradbeer

Margaret “Margie” BRADBEER

29.5.1951 – 4.5.2024

Our beautiful Margie died on Saturday morning. We are heartbroken.

Margie was warm, wise, gentle and splendid.  She lit up lives wherever she went.  She knew how to listen, how to love widely and unconditionally, how to guide and counsel, how to spend time in quiet solitude and reflection, how to be fun, how to be silly, how to delight her grandchildren.  She looked for the gift in everything, even the darkest of times.

She was a loving and beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend.

She nurtured in her daughters all the resources they needed to live and love deeply, and to navigate sorrow bravely.  She loved her Jamie wholly and happily for more than 50 years, and was, and is still, totally adored by him.

We never took for granted how lucky we were to have her, but we are only now beginning to understand the importance and enormity of the gifts she left behind in us and all who knew her.

Shine, shine, beautiful Margie. Light up the heavens with your wide smile.
