The service was beautiful, Jenny and Ruth. I am going to miss our chats with your mum and her smiling face. Looking outside my front window, I expect her to be out front gardening. Until we meet again, dear Helen. Much love to the family. I am going to miss her. Love, Laurie and John

With fond memories, I’ll look forward to seeing Helen again in the resurrection of the righteous

Beautiful service with wonderful memories of your beautiful mum. Love and thoughts with you all xxx

There are people whose presence threads quietly through your life, stitching themselves into every moment of growth, joy, heartbreak, and triumph. Miss Helen was one of those people.

From the early days—her head popping through my demi pile, always with a cheeky remark—to the later years where she always turned up with well wishes, Miss Helen was more than a teacher. She was a steady, joyful, and unwavering presence. She was backstage laughs while unloading the truck at the Agora. She was quiet belief before my Cecchetti diploma exam. She was there for milestones in both dance and life with wisdom, care and understanding.

What she gave went beyond technique or corrections. She gave her time, her warmth, her belief in us. She gave the kind of love that made you feel seen and safe. And even now, words will never quite be enough to capture how much she meant to so many ladybugs.

Miss Helen, thank you for showing up, always – even when it was a struggle for you. For your humour, your hugs, and your heart.
I carry your memory with every step, every plié, and every breath.
You were a wonderful soul.

With all my love,
Andrea

Dear Helen, it was always a pleasure to see your smiling face and hear your laughter at the studio. April and I enjoyed visiting you at home for those long chats. We were overjoyed and thank you again for attending April’s 21st birthday celebrations, and for staying up way past your bed time. Your spirit was always cheerful, friendly and always full of laughter. You lived a life to its fullest, travelled when you could with family and always helped out at the studio. April thanks you also for always encouraging her to turn out and use correct technique. You are an inspiration and we feel saddened that you’ve gone. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.
Much love Marie and April xx

Dear Helen, thank you for playing such an important part of my life as a budding young dancer. You were always there sharing your wisdom and love of dance. You will be missed. Love Lauren xxx

To our dear Auntie Helen,
You’ve been such a wonderful figure in our lives, and we have so many great memories — from roast dinners at your house, to hearing your infectious laugh, and watching you drink what felt like a bottomless supply of tea. We’ll always remember your quick wit, cheeky sense of humour, and of course, that unforgettable mustard-coloured Datsun — a true classic, just like you.
Much love always,
Joel, Leni, Alesia, Oli and Thalia
