Hi Jim,

Sorry, my lad, I could not make it to your funeral because of last minute medical problems. Ron and I wish you well on your journey to a better place.

Just this morning I was imagining your meeting up with brother Birdie, while the senior members of the Allen Family there, looked on in awe. Birdie and you will make a great duo in starting up the Tangasseri Association there. Gladwyn will be an able Assistant.
Jim, please give our namasthes to all our people there.

Blessings on you
Kay & Ron

Uncle Jim was the kind of person whose presence lit up every room he walked into. He was witty, quick with a joke or a story, always able to make us laugh even in the most unexpected of moments. His sense of humor wasn’t just about cracking jokes—it was about seeing the world through a lens that found the good, the funny, and the beautiful in even the smallest things. But Uncle Jim wasn’t just funny. He was one of the kindest people you’d ever meet. His heart was as big as his laughter, and you could feel that warmth radiate from him the moment you met him. He never hesitated to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Whether you were family or a stranger, Uncle Jim made you feel valued, cared for, and understood.

Uncle Jim lived his life to the fullest, embracing every moment, every adventure, and every opportunity to connect with others. Whether he was telling a tall tale, planning his next great adventure, or simply enjoying a quiet evening with loved ones, he did it all with enthusiasm and a zest for life that was truly contagious. We still have vivid memories of his visits to us in India and the fun times we had together with Aunt Trudy, Nat and Matt.

His legacy isn’t just in the memories he created, but in the way he made us feel—seen, appreciated, and loved. Uncle Jim’s spirit will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a world that is just a little bit brighter, a little bit kinder, and a lot funnier.
Rest in peace dear Uncle Jim and enjoy your time up in haven with your elder brother. You truly lived life to the fullest, and we will carry your laughter and kindness with us forever.

Dear Allen Family /Trudy,

We are deeply saddened by the passing of dear Jim. As a fellow student from our days at Infant Jesus Anglo-Indian Secondary School in Tangasseri , Jim will always be remembered for his warm heart, cheerful spirit, and the gentle but cheeky wit that brought smiles to those around him. He had a quiet grace and a way of making others feel seen and valued. Jim’s loving nature and gracious presence touched so many of us, and we are grateful for the memories we shared with him.
May the Lord grant him eternal rest in His heavenly presence, and may you, his beloved family, find strength and peace in knowing how deeply Jim was loved and respected. May the cherished moments you had with him bring you comfort during this time of sorrow.

With heartfelt condolences and prayers,
