The Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Fred will be offered at St Bede’s Catholic Church, 1 Severn Street, Balwyn North on WEDNESDAY 1st October, 2025, commencing at 10.45am.
A short Rosary will be recited prior to the ceremony, commencing at 10.30am
Fred will be buried privately immediately following the ceremony.
Following the service, the family warmly invite you to continue our celebration of Fred’s life.
Refreshments will be at The Veneto Club, 191 Bulleen Road, Bulleen.
Hot and Cold drink’s will be available from 1pm in The Rialto Room, followed by finger food from 1:30pm.
For guests coming to the Veneto Club after the service, please offer condolences there.

What can I say Fred was so lovely, to me he was not like anyone else I’ve ever known.
Stepping into the Italiano family as young 17 year old, I felt blessed.
Fred the head of the household.
A very successful business man with his Mercedes Coupe and playing handball.
A dedicated family man, loving and kind.
He worked hard to provide and sustain a privileged life for all those who he loved.
Very strong family values.
He definitely touched me and has left a long fond memory
May everyone grieving live on knowing Fred will always be with them, watching, smiling and supporting from afar ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was saddened to hear of Fred’s passing
I first met Fred as a school boy
at the Australian Handball Carnival in Sydney over 70 years ago when.we competed for the junior singles title.
In subsequent yeas we played against each other many times
Fred was an elite handballer but more importantly he was a true sportsman He played with great intensity but he was always a gentleman both on and off the court
He was a good bloke
