A very beautiful and moving service. What a wonderful way to honor Tessa’s life. Our thoughts are with you. Sending much love Mal and Mary🙏🙏🙏💗💗💗

Dear Ani Tsedron, prayers of healing, peace and love I send to you

I have known Tesia (diminutive of Teresa in Polish) since 1983 when, as a new comer to Australia, I have met her through a mutual friend. Since then, we’ve been close friends, even though, after 12 years, I went back to Poland. The physical distance didn’t matter so much, the most important was an emotional closeness. Yes, the relationship with Tesia couldn’t be neutral. She was a very sensitive person, affectionate and caring. At the same time, she was a strong minded, independent and brave woman. As my friend, Tesia supported me on many occasions, in happy and in the most difficult moments of my life, caring for my physical and mental health. She also was empowering and supportive when I was to face and conquer challenges in my new life in Australia. I have so many beautiful memories of our mutual excursions, adventures, the traditional Christmas and New Year festivities on Philip Island and just talks about life. Tesia was a family, when most of my family was so far away. She was just a part of my life. After my departure from Australia, we have met only on few occasions, both in Australia and in Poland. Tesia became a Buddhist monk (Ani Tsedron) in meantime, conducting a very  busy and demanding life, shared between therapeutic practice, Buddhist practices and retreats, yet she still remained close. And she will remain close in my thoughts and will be terribly missed by me forever.
I am  just about to leave for Sri Lanka, where I’ll visit a few Buddhist temples. Following Thupten’s advice I’ll do some practices and make an offering on behalf of Ani. I am happy that this time I can do something for Her.

Dear Ani la, thank you for your big heart and how you would give the warmest hugs. Your kindness to our family on pilgrimage is something we remember fondly. I also appreciated your particular mix of passionate nature, direct clarity, generous warmth and considered wisdom during the many years at Jamchen, warmest condolences TL and Magda, from Sally, Brian, Rachel and Georgia.

What a blessed life to be beside and supporting TL, and to have Magda. Your presence always brought musical joy, peace and understanding to the Shamatha group.

Tess was a great friend and a wonderful human being. I could always count on her help if needed. I miss her terribly.

We will always keep Tess in our memories and hearts – her warm eyes and radiant smile, her ability to touch our souls, and her beautiful piano playing and singing.

For dear Ani Tsedron. Our Buddhist nun. She was an honest person, brave and creative in her role as a Psychologist . As a Buddhist nun she was steadfast in the Vinaya ( Buddhist ethics). She helped many with her kindness and clarity. She especially loved the White Tara practice and developed a beautiful tune for the offerings. I always sing it her way, it’s feminine and sweet. I’m praying to the Dakinis to guide Ani- la straight to the Pure Realm of Amitabha Buddha

A remarkable human being as an individual and devoted practitioner to three jewels. She could be the first Buddhist in the west to reach to Buddhahood. Her courage and wisdom were unmatched. I salute her realizations. Hallelujah.

Gratitude and admiration for the life Ani La shared with so many – her creativity, intellect and wit have left a beautiful trace in the world, matched with generosity and open hearted kindness that will endure.
