Peter was funny and witty, kind and thoughtful. He was someone people always turned to for advice of one kind or another.
In place of a traditional funeral, we will hold two celebrations of Peter’s life. This will be a chance for Peter’s family and friends in both Australia and New Zealand to enjoy sharing their memories and stories of Peter.
The first celebration will take place on Tuesday 14th January in Melbourne with a second planned in Wellington NZ for Wednesday 29th January.
Michael Kenneth GILBERT
The celebrations of Michael's life will take place on Tuesday 7 January 2025.
There will be a brief burial service at 10:30 am at Woodend Cemetery (16 Buckland Street, Woodend) for those who are able to attend.
The memorial service for Michael will then be held from 11:45 am at the Gisborne Church of Christ followed by a gathering with refreshments at the church for all to enjoy sharing their memories and stories of our beloved Michael.
Brian Maxwell POWER
Dear Family & Friends,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Brian Maxwell Power, on Friday, 27th December (AEST) at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. After a long and tenacious battle with cancer, he passed with his wife by his side. It was calm and peaceful, and for this we are deeply thankful.
