The funeral service to honour and celebrate Stephen’s life will be held at Dardi Munwarro (Aunty Alma’s Gathering Place), 558 High St, Preston on MONDAY 4th December, 2023, commencing at 11am.

The wake will follow the service. Refreshments will be served.

The burial ceremony and laying of Stephen in his final resting place will follow at Weeroona Aboriginal Cemetery, 115 Providence Rd, Greenvale, commencing at 2pm.

Heather was born to Rita and Frank Piercy in March 1942 and died, surrounded by love, in November 2023.
Heather was the devoted wife of Alan (dec), dearly cherished mother to Hilary and Stephen, beloved mother in law to Jane and Raymond,   adored grandmother to Laura, Amelia, Thomas, Hannah, Audrey and Kristin and great grandmother to Ariki, Keoni and Mahana and a friend to many.
A woman of strength, intelligence and compassion, Heather gave so much to her family and community.
How lucky we were to love her. How hard it is to say goodbye.

Our Nigel passed away at home surrounded by love on Thursday 2/11/2023.

Died peacefully from old age.

The life of the much-loved Helen Shirley will be honoured and celebrated at her funeral service from 11am on Thursday 7 September at the Macedon Valley function room of the Macedon Ranges Hotel & Spa, 652 Black Forest Drive, Macedon.

Helen was the beloved wife of John, adored mother of Sue, cherished mother-in-law to Russell and she relished being sister to Michael. An active and popular member of the Gisborne community, Helen’s loss is already being felt heavily amongst many local residents, ranging from fellow croquet club members to myriad local shopkeepers. All who came across Helen’s bright smile and friendly personality were certainly the better for having known her.

Muriel Jeanne Conole (née Piper), much loved wife of Edward (Ted) Conole; mother of Lawrie, Elisabeth, Michael and Jennifer; grandmother of Marta, Blossom, Roman, Yarramun and Waadhi; passed away peacefully on Thursday 13th October 2022, aged 85, in Geelong.

Muriel was born to Gertrude (née Wiffen) and George Piper in Geelong in 1937, grew up on the family farm in Moolap, before moving with the family to Newtown (in Geelong). She met Ted at a Geelong Palais Saturday night dance, and they were married in 1959.

Muriel and Ted raised their family of four children in Geelong West, and she was a mother figure to many others who came into her long and loving life. Her kitchen table at Clarence Street was the welcoming setting for so many gatherings with love and laughter over the years.

Fay provided love and support to her whole family and beyond through the trials and tribulations of life.

Outstanding actor, singer and tap dancer. Leading lady in many theatre productions.

Described as “The real Dolly”  in her role as ‘Dolly Levi’ in the Peninsula Opera production of Hello Dolly.

A contributor to the Newlyn community, organising carols to support the Newlyn and Dean Country Fire Association for 18 years.

She will be sorely missed.

Celebrating the life of Gerard Jones

Our beautiful Gerard has passed away gently, surrounded by love and held by his family. We feel that he is resting peacefully and satisfied that he did everything he wanted to and tried so hard to live longer.

Gerard’s life will be celebrated at a Memorial on Tuesday 15th February 2022 at 11.00am to be held at MacKillop Family Services, 237 Cecil St, South Melbourne. The ceremony will be followed by a light lunch.

We ask that all those who are attending in person wear a mask when not eating or drinking. There will be well-ventilated indoor and outdoor seating options to help keep everyone protected. Please understand that all attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend the Memorial. This is for legal requirements and also to protect the vulnerable members of our community.
